Boots of God

by John D. Berry

Walking around today,

Looked down,

Found I was standing,

On the Ant people.

Not on purpose,

Mind you,

We just intersected,

Right then.

So small,

So busy,

With daily life,

To and fro.

Suddenly,

To be snuffed out,

By my boots,

So large to them.

It makes me wonder,

If Creator,

Wears boots too,

How about that?

Wondering

Where those footsteps

Are walking,

Now.

Are they stepping

Carefully?
