Scrap Paper
by Lucy DM

Scrap paper to be tossed aside when not needed
To be shoved under everything else, thinking one day it may come in use
To be used when nothing else is around
Never to be thought about twice, for you can always find another piece of scrap paper
How thoughtless are we; we do not see the value in what we think are scraps until they have
      vanished
We forget it was made the same way, to be cherished the exact same way we cherish our beloved
books and our sentimental news articles
To be looked upon with admiration and uniqueness, never just to be tossed aside and picked up
      when nothing else is around
