Autumn Leaves

volume 6 number 7

We All Get by Some Way
by Frank Anthony

There are two forms in
my unconscious thought
one has me next of kin
the other one I taught
I cannot ever discover
the one I actually see
and that mystery lover
continually escapes me
Must be nice to be BIG
instead a Mister Small
My brother wears a wig
made himself look tall
defies time completely
can pass by discretely
He never saw my father
cannot remember mother
