Autumn Leaves

volume 6 number 7

Shadows by the Sea
by Nimchira

Softly you come to me
Out of the shadows by the sea,
The wind in your hair,
Skin so soft and fair.

The moonlight in your eyes,
With lips that whisper beautiful lies,
Is this really what it seems
Or just another one of my dreams.

The sea rolls up to you
In swirls of Salty foam
To wash away the sand and loam.
Then you walk away from me,
Back to the shadows by the sea.
