Autumn Leaves

volume 6 number 6

Urban Voices
by John D. Berry

A long time now,
Looking back
To the now,
And the How.

Reservation relocation,
Urban consternation,
Friendship amalgamation
Without Reservations.

The why and the how,
No longer taught to plow,
Enough now,
Government says how.

To the Reservation relocations
And big city constipations
Inflicted on our populations,
No concerns about accommodations.

Get tight
With your brothers
And all the others;
It's like,
Survival.
