Autumn Leaves

volume 5 number 6

Untitled

by Jim Nasium

Dawn's light shines on a city
that will never be the same
it seems that to some people
life is just a game
terrorists' acts of vengeance
on a city busy at work
brought tears to the eyes of most'a the world
but some where some one wears a smirk

We will find who is responsible
for the destruction of the WTC
and for destroying the Pentagon
you and your whole country
will answer to the people
that live here in the USA
we won't take this kind'a bullshit
you won't get away with what you did yesterday

If I had the power
to decide if we'd go to war
I don't know what I would do
but we can't have terrorists attacks anymore
not on this our great nation
we fly the red white and blue
now that we have been attacked
tell me what should we do
