For Those of the Loyal Faith

by Larry Kibby

Dissolution from the sky,
Generations asking why?
Young and old experiencing fear,
A country casting sorrowful tears.
So many victims of hate,
Suffering a grievous fate.
Gathering in sacred places,
Are compatriots of many faces.
The multitudes so very all alone,
While some lost sheep have come home.
The unity is one of contemplation!
Every prayer a sacred meditation.
You will revitalize your spirit, America!
For your God is sympathetic in your honor!

An evil deed done in vain,
Innocent hearts feel the pain.
Sacred words from within,
Trying to ease a dreadful sin.
The populace finding a faithful need,
A few discovering the righteous seed.
Sincere expressions of spiritual power,
Recited for the victims of the towers.
Night vigils and prayers with glowing candles,
Seeking the one wearing the sacred sandals.
The unity is one of contemplation!
Every prayer a sacred meditation.
You will revitalize your spirit, America!
For your God is sympathetic in your honor!

As the world watched life descending down,
Droplets of sorrow fell harshly to the ground.
There was no apprehension of shame,
And oh so many did call out his name.
Young and old became casualties of this fate
And the lambs were carried through the gate.
Oh how the congregations did weep,
Praying to the savior the souls to keep.
And know that now cometh the time,
To renew the heart, soul and mind.
For America you should understand,
Your unity is one of contemplation!
Your every prayer a sacred meditation!
You will revitalize your spirit, America!
For your God is sympathetic in your honor!
