The Story of Red

by Teacher Rhonda's First Grade Class

Red came from Mars to the roses
of Mullica Hill. People wanted
to chop them into red strawberries.
But red wanted to stay with the rainbow.
Red decided to stay when people said,
"Be on our clothes, be on our lips, our lipstick,
and be in our hearts."
