Hey, you can't blame eating blue birds for your problems!
Other victims of Kosovo aren't your problem — unless you let it.
They are like dust bunnies under your bed —
just sweep them under and forget them.
Within a couple of minutes,
you'll be painting your nails and thinking about tomorrow;
if it comes.
Years ago … years and years … Vegas was maybe only half built,
and young people's lives were designed around breathing through meals.
Veterans of war
wandered away,
within a couple of weeks and now their cause is pure simple —
to stay away from what they came.
More troublesome words greet us each morning:
victory, defeat, another victim,
approach your mind where you can not predict their impact.
Hey, you can't blame eating blue birds for your problems!
