A Poem of the Night Sky

by Elsie Anna Albone

I look out on a clear night and see a very dark blue sky,
with frosty-colored stars: little, tiny, dark, faint, and far-away.
They
look icy-cold.
Look above the trees:
'Way beyond the trees, a bright moon, far-away stars and planets.
They look like distant icicles that make my hands cold, frosty,
and
icy.
Moon:
I say goodbye to the small, crescent moon
so bright.
