The Whole Story

I left a hole up in the sky

so the moon could get through

and play with all the tides

 

wind…

touches the spirit

with images of hope

 

drum of rain

bangs out the beat

bitter water welting

 

stars…

swimming in the night sky

dissolved in clarity
