Think Small, Dream Tall

by Regis Auffray

Think small

Dream tall

Find a way around the wall

Watch the sunlight fade

Lay down in the shade

Of a blade of grass

Allow this to pass

Keep an open mind

If your dreams are kind

You will learn the way

To face the new day

With the morning sun

Once more on the run

Rise up from your bed

With a clearer head

Be taught by the ant

It does not know "can't"

It lives and it dies

Sans wherefores or whys

Seek wisdom within yourself

Not from books upon the shelf

Think small

Dream tall

Walk right through the wall
