Animal

by Diwja

I need sun and rain

Fresh sweet grass

Green with glowing life

I need rain and balmy breezes

Flowing through the trees

Forgive me, but I need

Warm flesh, caressing arms

Naked bodies and the heat

In the night … I need

Tender words and deep thrusts

Of love

What do I do with the animal part of me?

Don't put a leash around my neck

Try to tame my desire

School my inner need

I'm just trying to live

With the animal part of me.
