Seasons

by John Bowers

Spring time is coming here

Winter time concludes a tranquil year

Summer time shows off under the sun

Fall time engulfs the childhood fun

Rain is crying for her rewards

Snow displays its white awards

Heat is on the move this day

Cold catches the attention of the strays

Blizzards blind the senses of the intellect

Hail storms swear at the weary elect

Day light hinges around the free

Darkness enslaves the host's chee

One day there is proactive love

Another day—a higher emotion above
