Have You Been to Where the Moon Dreams?

by Lana Hensley

Have you been to where the moon dreams?

Splintering in two

with fear.

I have felt it

as if it were

my own heart.

I have seen his out line

cowering behind the velvet

cloak of darkness,

clutching his pale-faced twin

who is more afraid of the dark

than he is

a dream.
