Falling

by Barbara Hilal

Love like jealousy imposes;

we do not ask for such possession.

Virtue or fault love discloses.

Virtue and fault love discloses,

victims of powers that have no limits,

inspires poetry and proses.

It can only lead to delusion,

romantically falling in love.

It's a supernatural intrusion.

It's a supernatural intrusion,

You no longer can master your life

Thoughts and feeling are caught in confusion

It can only lead to delusion.

I must come home to myself!

My dependency is just an illusion?

It's a supernatural intrusion.

God-like you stand before me.

Separate, but our hearts are in fusion.

It can only lead to delusion,

Losing my self in your love.

Only you're in my life of exclusion.

The ultimate Adam and Eve,

It can only lead to delusion.

It's a supernatural intrusion.
