Ablution

by Debashish Haar

Struggling to come out

of the trance of the journey,

though left the mitigated shores

with anointment of eons love affair,

felt the replica's collaterals—

the strands of solar connection

with marooned leverage

of sparks contending radiance

serving meliorate meadows.

Trailing up gingerly

right into the facade

of your majestic castle,

crawling and struggling

yet moving ahead in the alcove,

yet holding to your tiny honeyhands.

Shades of blue, shades of green,

shades of eternal hue—

all subjugated in your skin tones,

contending with overtones.

Only thoughts levitated

in this sojourn of fantasy,

an eclectic savor of wine,

cadence of numerous diffused goals!
